On Wednesday, my amazing little Loki arrived. He is one of Netty and Bronzecats baby coppers. He is soooo cute!
Here are some pics taken by Netty before he was packed:

He has been playing hide and seek with me and my camera, until today when he finally decided to allow me to take his pic! Apologies, he is in a scratched up plastic tank for now, until he grows a little and moved to my 60 litre which will be divided up! The plastic tank has no proper light :S jsut a crap little stick on LED thing.

Isn't he adorable? :p He has started to interact with me now, shimmying out from behind the plants and showing off!

He definately is adorable Tibby   and you've managed to pick up on his lovely colours too and he's a right chubby

He is a little - ahem - well fed? LOL! he is getting 3 feeds a day at the mo, 2 lots of crushed betta pellets, and one tiny portion of frozen food - he isn't keen on brine shrimp but loves bloodworm! Might try him with a bit of frozen daphnia today :)

What a spoilt little boy   Can't believe how much he's coloured up with you already

I know! He is looking bigger too - and he has only been here 5 days! He has been making tiny little bubble nests for me too

Awwwww that's so sweet. Frollicky's little Oberon made one the day he left......it was so cute. Can't believe it's nearly a week :hyper:

wow he is an unusual shape :X

if you had a proper light it would have ruined that first pic :p

sure is nice though :)

Actually, Loki IS fat right now :p I think I need to cut back on his feeding, lol. But he looks at me in that certain way and I just have to give him another tiny pinch! LOL!
Netty, is frozen food every day too much for him? I only give him a tiny amount - like 5 bloodworms or brine shrimps - am I overdoing it? He also gets beta pellets in the morning.

That should be fine Tibby but maybe just give him 3 bloodworm in the morning and the pellets at night. I do know what you mean though......I used to give them quite a few but then they are young and need feeding up more than adults :good:

GREAT LOOKING COPPER! (lol i can't go wrong this time right?)

I love the chubby little guy. Seems to me like you are feeding a TAD too much. I really don't know what a young'n like this needs for food though.

Plz keep us all updated as he grows more :)

:p Well, Loki is having a temporary fast - no food this morning, will wait till tonight! I think someone needs a poo... LOL!
Thanks Netty, will follow your advice! That's a few more b,oodworms for the baby kribs then :p - and as there are 70 of them, I think they could do with them!
Thanks Remz - he is gorgeous!! You will regrat asking for updates, I am infatuated with this lil fella and will no doubt drive you all mad talking about him!
