Hi there just thought you might like to look at one of my babies. He has a slight malformation (like no anal fins). But he is a beautiful colour and I think he looks cute even if he isn't perfect.

I call him Jazza and he has 2 girls to keep him company. I'm hoping to breed him with the white HM female and not the VT as she is just in the tank for safe keeping until I house her somewhere else.

One more shot of him

He is a lovely fish, nothing wrong with having no Ventral fins, I have a few without them ;) shouldn't effect any fry he may have either.

But no way I would house him with females, temperary or not

He is a very pretty boy, hope your bad girl takes a liking to him, you should get some interesting fry.

I know its a no no to have the girls in with him. I am keeping a keen eye on them to make sure they are well behaved. So far all is calm and all are getting on fine together. Like I said its only temporarily and the vt female will not be in the tank for much longer. Jazzas brothers and sisters are very different in colour, you would not think they are related. I will put some pics up of them soon. Does any one else have a betta that colour. I don't know how to describe his colour mmmmmmmmmm plum platinum.

well he certainly looks to be a dragon betta :) did you breed him yourself? would love to see siblings :D

I have 4 females from a friends spawn, 1 green, 1 white, 1 cellophane and 1 black orchid!

I'm not saying it's a good idea to have him with females but even my PK male has temporarily had to live with my female. They either ignore each other completely or just put up with each other. No nipped fins or anything and they've been together for a few weeks now. He shouldn't be there much longer now though, nearly got his tank set-up for him and my other male(Divided of course!) to live in.

i just exploded... all my fance bettas keep dying in perfect conditions... but my pk stays alive! he is an absolutely gorgeous colour! i envy you!

Just thought I would add some family photos of the stunning boys sisters, they are gorgous girls and I am very fond of them.

First of all the girl showing off her side is Prima Donna she is almost certian to place herself in the middle of any photograph.

Pheonix - but see what I mean about Prima Donna edging into the shot?

Carpe Diem this is an older photo of her she has since finally caught up to her sisters in size, she was the smallest of the group.

And now for their Brother :hyper:

He's just called Little Man, he is small and sweet but a pain to take photos off because he hates to sit still.

I think he's going to be a really laid back male, even with a mirror he attempted to flare once and then just wondered off.... maybe I should call him Hippie - peace man

I'll find some video of the girls later and add that as well.

Hope you enjoyed the extended family photos.

Hey Baccus nice pics and its good to see Jazzas brothers and sisters are going well....spoiled rotten I see. Hippie peace man sounds like a good name for your little male. If he doesn't get any bigger than what he is, then I may have produced a new strain of betta. Pygmy bettas.

my male is the same he doesnt care for his reflection but when i give him the chance boy does he like showing to the ladies :hey: .. that and his enemy the thermometer is the only way i can get him to flare now cus he's so laid back and has i dont care attitude

LOVE your bettas by the way specially Jazza :)
