Platties!!


Remember a while back I found 5 tiny fry when I was emptying out my old tank after moving everyone in to the 6ft tank? well, I put those teeny tiny little fish in too, they looked like tiny see-through sticks with eyes at the time and I wondered if any would survive.

Well, we hadn't seen them since, 6ft is a lot of water when you're a micron long. Then yesterday we saw one! She's black and ginger, looks just like her mother, lol, then today she was hanging out with another one about the same size as her. The other one is still very "clear" looking, so I don't know what that's going to be, but the black one is the absolute image of her mother, same colours/markings and all, just like her but in miniature

hi platys are kind of my fav at the moment,my black platy had 5 fry eight weeks ago,4 were also same as mom 1 is siver and blue ,she had 5 more this week as far as i can tell at least 1 is silver again .
its like a supprise every 4 weeks .

FOUR! I have four!! Two black and two white (clear-ish)

Amazing how they hide, lol, they are all the same size so these must be 4 of the 5 I put in....wonder if I will find the fifth?
