My aunt told me her angel has a cloudy eye, this is fungus right and is to be treated with maracyn 1+2 right?

It's usually bacterial but you have the meds right. It's more often gram negative, which Maracyn II covers, treating with both insures no secondary gram positive infection.

Cloudy eye is a symtom of a desease not a desease in its self.
Need to look at water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.
Bad water quality, bacterial to parasite, old age, irration, bad diet the list is quite endless.

probably old age and poor water quality, she was told to change water only twice a month and not enough until I told her last month and now she's doing 15% weekly water changes. Her ammonia, nitrites are fine but nitrates are a little high because of the water changes I think, should she treat with maracyn 1+2 though, because I think she's giving her a salt bath even though I told her not too.

I would get the stats under control, see how he gets on.
The more you use meds the more they get used to them, and eventually they don't work on the fish.

Ok ya it's working now for me, great site, good info, is that yours? Don't know about the fish, I haven't been able to contact her yet, she's a bus driver so during the week it's hard to get ahold of her because she does field trips at night when I'm home. Will let you know what happens.
