i was looking at getting these

http://www.aquaessentials.co.uk/tmc-aquagro-co2-starter-kit-p-3416.html
and
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEACHEM-FLOURISH-500ml-500-ml-AQUARIUM-PLANT-SUPPLEMENT_W0QQitemZ150377063159QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Pet_Supplies_Fish?hash=item23032be2f7#ht_3255wt_1002

I'm not sure about the co2 still as i dont know what ide need how to set it up etc. But the seachem flourish i've heard its quite good

if there is one could someone point me in the direction about co2
and any suggestions on things would be great

I can't comment on the CO2 kit as I don't have experience with it, although the price looks excellent. I am using seachem flourish and am happy about it. Besides that I also use root tabs as a complement after my substrate wore out.

yer im looking at getting some i was thinking my tank was just a normal 60l never measured it until today put it into the calculator and its 80l. Was wondering what do you think the maximum plants i could have in there with no co2?
I have around 14/15 at the moment and personaly i think it looks bare compared to some of the planted tanks on here...

wow i really like it

you could just dose seachem excel for your size tank
or try diy co2

I might attempt a diy co2 depends whats better

The seachem flourish excel is that just like "easylife easycarbo"

And do you know about how many plants i could have without co2?

Sorry, I wanted to post yesterday and today, but my work did not have internet.

I think you'll be fine with DIY CO2, but you've purchased that other product, no?

Yes, Seachem Flourish Excel is similar to Easycarbo.

You're off to a good start with regard to your planted tank. You've made pretty good plant selections so far. Mostly stems including ludwigia repens, cabomba (I think), hygrophila polysperma and difformis, alternantera species, Echinodorus tenellus (I think), Vallisneria, and crypts.

cheers and yer i just bought that thing to see what it was like but yer cheers for names.

I don't know weather to keep it like this or move things around before i get more plants like make it planted in one half and the other just a few bits or leave it as it is eventualy covering the back and curving round the sides. I'm looking at getting a green carpet like some Hemianthus Callitrichoides or something also some other mid ground/foreground plants.

Also how do i do it causing the least stress to the fish and shall i put a fertilizer substrate in. All of my plants are thriving ive only took out 1 plant because it was dying and i had that plant since day one wasnt good when i bought it.

Can anyone suggest any mid-ground plants

dont think ive done too bad going from this
