should i cut the flower to encourage the leaves grow? i read somewhere, flowering costs too much nutrition

Wow! um, this might seem stupid, but dont you WANT the flower? Those plants look beautiful in flower! I'd rather have the growth stemmed a bit just to see the flower for a while! just my 2c worth!

What should you do? Stand back and admire it. Leave it be and be happy in the knowing that your Anubias is healthy and happy.
I havnt heard that they absorb more nutrients. It wouldnt suprise me though. I doubt it will make a huge dent in the supply of nutrients for your other plants.
Maybe you could take a picture? :)

I would think the same as Fred, I wish my anubias could flower too. :)

Please post a pic of it when it flowers...

However, i do remember, last year, i had a Aponogeton ulvaceus in my tank, it grows so big, with so many huge beatuifuly leaves, almost occupy my whole 70l tank. Then it began to flower, i cut it , it flower again and again, at last the plant got angry

it send 2 or 3 flowers in 1 day, and flower b4 i cut it, i was so pissed

Because i was told those flower will cost too much engery, and make the plant weak.

At last, i gave it up, gave it to my mate.

so i do not know wot will happen this time, esp Nana is such small plant

Well, you know those anubias... kinda more laid back I think. Not really the vengeful type of plant to get really angry if you try and foil its plans for total global domination....

http://www.holendry.republika.pl/img/anubias.jpg is a pic of the flower I believe

I'm inclined to agree. I don't think "Attack of the Killer anubias" is going to invade movie theatres any time soon. Enjoy the flower, I don't think it'll weaken the plant. There are some species where flowering signifies the end of its life cycle, hence die-backs after blooming, but I don't think anubias are built that way. Their leaf structure and toughness suggests a plant that is more enduring.

An A. barterii var barterii is blooming in my 36g as well. Of course, however, viewing the blossom involves employing the neck contortions of a flamingo, so that blossom with go generally unnoticed. So, enjoy the fact that you can see yours.

llj
