They've just been lip locking a little. Is this normal?

Thanks. The lfs where I go to a lot also had super-reds. They were beatiful but $14.99 a piece. I might buy some in the near future though.

Its standard angel aggression, most of their battles involve lip locking but you can't predict the behaviour they will show toward each other once settled in. They are establishing a hierachy, whether the dominant fish decides to bully the submissive from then on is down to him/her.....
I'd make sure you have plenty of cover and rearrange the tank decor now he's been added to break up new territory and give them a chance to re-establish territory on a level pegging.....

2 isn't a very good chance of a pair and 3 isn't much better. Try 6+ you will def. get a pair!

I got 2 and they are a pair i added another and now they are a 3 way. Breeding is weird to watch (its 2 males and 1 female)

well lip locking is normal (sometimes corting) and they look very nice

You are lucky you got a pair from two, and a 3 way I have never heard of before! Tolak has a chart that gives the percent chance of a pair based on the amount of angelfish.

Yeah i posted a thread about my 3 angel trio, i think its called "angel 3some or something like that. Its 2 males and 1 female seem to get one fine they are in with other small fish. One of the males (smaller one) has red eyes, bright red is that breeding or something? Sorry to take over the thread.

How big is the tank? and was that an albino cory that swam past in the vid?

What kind of angel fish is the one that has the orange look on it? It is very pretty!

The lady at the fish store told me it was a gold marbled angelfish. To me it looks like he's/she's wearing pajamas.
Oh to betta5 the tank is 55 gallons and yes it was an albino cory.
