I thought this day would never come. I have had 5 veiltail angels for what seems like forever (well a good 8 months) and yesterday I noticed that two of them seemed to be going through this Synchronised swimming dance which was entertailing. Today the same two were defending on corner of the tank and when I looked closly I saw both had papilla one way rounded and the other more pointed! I moved the pair to another tank of thir own and thought that was it. I have now noticed two of the remaining three are going through the same ritual! The one remaining I think is a male because he too is showing papilla and keeps trying to get close to the one I think is the female but gets chased off.
Has anyone else had a group of angels pair off like this?
