hey guys.

so apparently my two angels (see link in sig) are boy/girl and took a liking to each other.
i got them at different times, without any regard to sex. from what i read online it's quite a lucky break that they became a couple.
today i noticed them fighting. some hours later after i get out of a shower, i notice a lot of eggs on a melon sword leaf.

in the last 1.5 hours they haven't stopped going over the eggs. the female will put some more, and the male will keep on fertilizing, or at least trying to.
this hit me by surprise, i am in no way prepared. i did have tank dividers from my betta days, so i've got the tank divided at the moment. each side of the tank has a filter and heater on it, so i'm not worried about worried quality or temperature with the division.

question for you guys: how do i know if the fertilization was successful? i've heard the eggs turn white? how long before i notice that? and if they all turn white, is it safe to assume it failed? i only ask because i've had both angels since they were 0.5" so i know for a fact this is their first time spawning, and i've heard it tends to not be successful...

anything you have to add is highly welcome!
