My Angelfish Are Making A Screaching Noise

hi my angelfish have started breeding they had there first go to my knowledge got to day 4 wiggle stage but other fish ate them, i have now moved angels to a breeding tank and all of a sudden they are making a screaching sound like baby chicks?

what on earth are they doing

Are they sucking air at the surface? Mine do this for floating food but it could also be a water quality issue.
