ok..a while ago, i;ve realised my 2 angel fish lip locking..and my black angel ..lost some scales from what i've seen. i've separated the black one to heal..is this a wrong desision?

i've read the sticky that they are about to breed..is this for sure? this is a HUGE problem for me

1. I'm moving next month
2. I'm not ready for this
3. ...i really dont know what to do!...panic panic
4. I was planning on clearing the tank when i move so it'll only be a guppy and cory tank, WAY too many guppies now :/ i'd only have 2 empty 10 gallons what.

what am i gona do????

i also dont think they are pairing up ..as they already are a pair ..they go everywhere together..it's only recently they started lip locking :S

I have pairs that battle daily, just because I turn the light on. If you don't want them to breed, just pull the eggs out before they hatch.

Separating the battered angel is a good idea, they can get brutal. Plenty of fresh water & melafix heal them up.

that's another problem, i dont think i can do it..i dont think i can pulll the eggs out...i mean..after all they are living creatures ...or soon to be :byebye:

maybe i can ...sell the angels before they breed?

Sure, you could sell them, or put a divider in the tank. Find a non-corporate lfs, they should give you a good deal.

There is no guarantee that if they spawn the eggs will develop into baby angels. I have a pair that spawn faithfully every week and a half to two weeks. The eggs have never grown past wiggler stage. The pair watch the eggs for 2 or 3 days, then they abandon them.

I too am not ready to breed. I don't have the space or time to devote to it. I just let nature take its course.
