BUT! an Angel, and several silver sharks are making a big fuss of a load of eggs under one leaf. What eggs could these be? You can see the angel suckling at the plant near end of vid.

Choose from:
5 silver sharks
2 angel fish
10 yellow german guppies
2 neon tetra (where could the other 10 have gone!)
10 sunset platy
10 tetra glowlight
1 dwarf gourami dawrf royal red
1 dwarf gourami neon blue
2 gourami pink kissers
2 gourami green kissers
1 mollie
1 sailfin mollie
1 9" plec (I saw him this week!)
10 cherry barbs
2 random platy
4 whelky snail things

If you have a 5ft long tank, id try adding a massive shoal of somekind 60+ strong, possibly harelquins or rummynose they will shoal fanstastically and make the tank look much much fuller

i think it doesnt look very stocked as you have a few of many different species

id stick to a few species but lots of them so they each have their own giant community

someone else has a 400l tank and was asking for opinions on the forum who stocked similar to yourself (i advised them the same lol)

just from my experience this has worked for me

HTH Daz

i love the backdrop, i have that in my larger turtle tank :)
it is very nice, specially when algae starts to grow on it

i agree with ^, you should deffo get a load of shoaling fish, although in my experience they never seem to stick together :(
i had a tank full of various neons (long fin etc) and even though there were over 30 of each, they never stuck together :(

harelquins are the best shoaling fish ive seen, look brilliant!

like I said on the BBS ;) The neons have most likely been eaten by the Angels

Hi Gaz! Yes, I think the Angels do it after lights out. They didn't seem so grumpy during the day...

Thanks for your comments everyone, I shall invest in a huge amount of Harlequins (having checked to see if they fit in an angels mouth first)
