I'll second that nomination

 quarantine/prison tank in your sig

That looks like the same substrate i was looking at when i changd from gravel to sand :D
Looks fantastic with the green of the plants :kewlpics:

(You don't need any more noms ;) )

:fish: Thanks folks, it took a while for the discus to come out of hiding after the change. ;)
Need to get some brighter lighting now so I can see the fish's colours properly :D

Sand is (excuse spelling) tahitian moon by carribsea :)

I love the pictures :kewlpics: I can't wait to get my next tank( have to make a lot of money though. I want to use sand or a fine gravel but don't know what kind!

daveo :flex:

:fish: If you want black then you have to go for something like the carribsea sand :D .

If you're going to be happy with white sand then playpit sand is a cheaper alternative :D

Is it just plants or do you have driftwood or rock in there aswell? I think a bit of driftwood looming out of the plants would look gorgeous.

Great tank anyway you deserve the noms.

Ben

Wow that's a real nice looking tank. Makes mine seem amateur :(

Care to share what equipment you have? Lights, CO2, filtration, fertilization? Thanks!
