Thanks folks, it took a while for the discus to come out of hiding after the change.
Need to get some brighter lighting now so I can see the fish's colours properly

If you want black then you have to go for something like the carribsea sand .

If you're going to be happy with white sand then playpit sand is a cheaper alternative

Is it just plants or do you have driftwood or rock in there aswell? I think a bit of driftwood looming out of the plants would look gorgeous.
