My 25 Gallon Tank.

Just telling you about your 10 gallon community:

Ten gallon 2 live plants fake plants drift wood

1 iridecent shark
1 red tailed shark
1 cory cat
3 tetras (assorted types)
1 cherry barb
1 pleco

It is way overstocked. Iridescent sharks grow to 4 feet long. Red tailed sharks need a tank that is 20 gallons or preferably larger. Cories need to be in a group of 4 or more. Tetras need to be in very large groups with their own kind. Your pleco is proabably a common pleco which grows to 20" (sorry if it is not a common pleco though).

Small discus need to be kept in groups, at least 6 are needed. A single small discus will be stressed being alone in any tank. That tank is way too small.

Please believe me when I tell you to start with angels, and work your way up to discus. I've read more than you want to know about discus, talked to breeders & such, and applied much of that knowledge to my angel breeding setup. I don't feel I have the time to devote to keeping discus, as I know it would lead to breeding them. Maybe when I retire I'll have the time to reconstitute 300+ gallons of water weekly.
