Sorry about the dark pic. I'm still figuring out how to get good shots of the tank without using my flash...

My community consists of:

5 Red Phantom tetras
3 Glowlight tetras
3 Bronze corydoras
3 Otocinclus
1 Hisonotus (sold to me as an Oto)
1 Twig catfish
4-5 Ghost shrimp

My plants are all sliks and plastics, I think it'll be a while before I attempt any live plants.

Here's one of my Otos...

wow pretty... Get a brighter light...maybe a flourescent one. open some windows..you can stand at differnt angles to avoid glaring.

yeap i agree. you should change the light. get something stronger. even though your 'plants' now may have no use for it, it would be nice to look at.

Very, very pretty tank. Try to hold your camera at an angle and you should still be able to use the flash. Also, try different settings, if available. I mostly use the portrait setting. For some reason, it works. :good:

I think a nice 24" DIY flourescent light overtop would brighten that up a lot!

Thanks for the encouraging, remarks. It also turns out that there is some algae growing on the left side of the acrylic lens protecting my lamp, so it might jsut be a matter of cleaning that out....hopefully :dunno:

Nice tank, a tip for picture taking, even with the flash on, is to shoot on a downwards angle or upwards angle, this prevents the flash from glarring back into the lens :)

You have a twig catfish!!! oh i love those little guys!! lucky. :hyper: very pretty tank! and nice choice of fish.

Nice Tank. Never saw a twig catfish before. Very Cool. Live plants are not hard to deal with (so Far) Have had a few in my 55 gallon for a month or so.
