My 2 Fighting Fish =)

Allright lads.

I'd just like to show my 2 Siamese Fighting Fish. I've had one of them for a while now (maybe 6 months); the other I added to my other tank yesterday morning.

Both seem to be thriving and happy; so aye without further ado here they are!

Caesar (my Crowntail - had him for 4 months now; hes very tame, almost passive in his behaviour. He never nips or chases his tankmates and just bobs about in the water, spying on me at work on the computer. He has a strange habit of always swimming to the surface when I play the guitar and watching me from afar!)

Pompey (my Veiltail - only had him for a few days now; although he is in a far bigger tank with large tankmates he is clearly ruling the roost. My Paradise Gourami came up to him last night out of curiosity; lets just say that he stays away from him from now on! At present he likes to swim around my swordplants in the big tank)

So yes, just thought I'd share my wee fish with the public here =)

Both lovely Bettas, 1 thing we usually dn't recommend however is mixing with gourami, i take it they ended up fighting? thats why he won't go back

They didn't even fight! Nemo (the gourami) swam right upto Pompey (well within nipping range) yet did nothing. I think he was just curious. Pompey began to flare up and Nemo sharply took an about turn =P

From what I can see there are no injuries on any of the fish and no aggressive behaviour of any kind =)

Pompeys minding his own business; if I see any aggression I have a friend willing to care for either one of them =)

And my apologies, just a bog standard greeting over here =P

Regarding the music, I'm intrigued - I only play Poison/Def Leppard/Whitesnake etc on the guitar; does that mean my fish is into 80's hard rock? =P
