thanks guys the wood on the left i got cheap of ebay ( 7 quid) plan for the tank is to find another nice big piece for the other end where the mangrove root is and get some new plants for the middle at the back ( silk tho cos of the sevs)

thanks haych. he didnt used to be out and about like that he was in there a good 6 months before he was confident enough to come out of hiding but now hes out all the time.

thanks guys. yeah bigfairy the sevs are fine with the barbs , no problems at all for such a large cichlid sevs have pretty small mouths plus they are usually pretty mellow so its surprising what you can put with them
