Muti Cure Treatment

ok so i bought this multi cure stuff for white spot velvet disease an fungal diseases an i got a 35ltr tank so i put less than wat was required for 40 ltrs. i did a partial water change like it said before i put it in an removed my carbon pad. once i put it in my tank water went a darkish green, now im sure thats wat its suppose to do, BUT i want to make sure if it is cos i dont want to kill all my fish trying to save one of em!!!!! it says u can put straight into the tank, was i suppose to put it through the filter first?

please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whitespot meds can turn water green or blue.
Once it ciculated around the tank is starts to fade.
have you increased aeration with the med.
