My Son has 2 small Musk Turtles that he`s had for a few months now. I went up to feed them earlier on and noticed that one of them is having trouble getting the top part of his body upwards towards the surface, when it`s attempting to swim to the surface it`s head is craned up as far as possible to reach the food. The other turtle is absolutely fine, completely upright when swimming around and to the surface.

Hopefully this will make sense to someone as we`d really like to have some idea of what could be wrong

I spoke to Wayne who runs Turtle rescue on your behalf. They are experts in turtle care and have a resident vet. He would like you to call him ASAP as he needs to ask you a few questions about other symptoms your musk turtle has. Depending on other symptoms that may be present this could be a sign of serious illness and you need to act quickly to save the turtle. Please call Wayne ASAP
