I've got a tank of size 2 feet x 1.5 feet x 1.2feet (WxLXH)

I've got 2 loaches, 6 tetras, 2 otos, 2 pearlscale goldfish and 1 big pleco inside...
with some plants inside

the water always seems murky. i just did a 20 % water change. it got better. but its not good enough?
any idea why?
over feeding? or are the goldfish dirtying the tank ?

Umm, All I would know to do is get a better filter and change the water often. Getting a better filter will definately make the water clearer IMO.

Ask someone else though about your problem. I've been in freshwater (but mainly saltwater) tanks for a few years but am no where as experienced as a lot of the people in these forums.

Good luck,

SB

you've got a very confused tank. i would sort out your stocking. you're mixing coldwater with tropical fish which is never recommended.

it is likely to be some kind of bacterial bloom. like locke said, you may need a better filter.
both goldies and plecos are BIG waste producers.

but personally i would rehome your goldies somewhere else entirely. all the other fish are tropical, and the tetras and otos could quite easily become goldie food.
