At least I think two of my fish have anchor worm... They both have redish worms around their anal fins, right where their bums are. |said worms are very small, only a few mm in length. (Which may explain why I never noticed them before.)

I've had my tank for two years and right around the beginning for some reason I would have some fish (Usually live bearers, like Platys or guppies) just waste away, they would get really skinny and not eat (And there is occasional scratching on aquarium decorations)

With these two guppies I have noticed they are wasting, and that they itch on the bottom, and in the last week or so I noticed these very small worm like things coming from the rear ends of my fish....

I don't know much about fish parasites (And if that's what I have then I've had them for almost the life of my tank and never realized it :/)

Does anyone have any recommendations for medication? I've tried two treatments of a product related to API General Cure (Treats parasites) It has the same active ingredients... Praziaquantel and Metronidazole.
(Though for the first treatment I forgot to take the activated carbon out, so I'm going to do a water change and do a third treatment because I bought two packs of the stuff.)

Anyway, if anyone has any advice for me I would appreciate it. I don't want to see my fish suffer but my methods thus far have been fruitless

Might want to try an anti-parasite food, if they are still eating.

yeah, that description does sound more like what I have than anchor worm (anchor worm is the only parasite listed on most sites that even closely resembles what I am seeing) So thanks.
Now to not do statistics homework in order to read about parasitic worms...... Maybe I'd rather do the stats :p

As I don't have access to Levimasole HCL, (The site everyone advertises for it is pretty expensive to ship to Canada)
I may have to shut down the tank and bleach everything....... I wonder if these worms can infect shrimp and snails? (I have both of these in the tank as well)

Not all of my fish are displaying signs of being infected. I won't worry about euthanasia until I'm certain of a given fish have it (As it sounds like they all probably already have said worms at some life stage in them.)
