Sounds like he's damaged his swim bladder, and with the bruising he could have internal bleeding, all you can do it just keep an eye on him, don't blame your self but try no to handle a fish out of water as they jump. Good luck.

thx, will ever recover control of his tail or swim bladder? or will he be bloody and bruised until the day he dies??
im sorry but i cant help worry about him.......

thx again, he is floating with his head up in the water, so if hes damaged his swim bladder could he do that or just sink to the bottom? will he be able to swim wit his tail fin again? again thx for all the help!

Sorry must be awful, good luck and I hope he does make it, but it not easy to say at this moment in time.

Forgot to ask is he breathing abit harder then normal.

Hows the fish doing.

dude WWW.DRFOSTERSMITH.COM use the live help, they have pros that can help u, or just call, hope the fish is still ok, its been a day

For everyone who reads this and didnt see it on tropical chit chat, the mudskipper perished after 3 days. Jaws has been ridiculed like crazy on there enough to where people are now saying that noone under 16 should be allowed to buy fish.

Jaws was chastised, not ridiculed; there is a big difference. However, we should not take this thread the way of the other, it's water under the bridge now, for want of a better expression.
