Well a few weeks earlier i posted on here that i passed up a 55gal for 50$ from my aunts friend at work.

My grandma comes up to me yesterday and says theres a 55 for 45$ in the paper.
My Dad was standing there also and..

"That reminds me, a gal at my work offered me a 55gal with filter heater and everything for FREE, do you want it?"

Heck yes i said.

So i SHOULD be getting that tank sometime next week.
I guess she had an oscar for like 10years in it or sumthing, and it died...

Anything i should look for in it being such an older tank?

I have like no where to put it! My rooms already full! I might just keep it until i move out... Not sure yet on that one!

Fill the tank up outside first to make sure it dosn't leak, if it's old it might want resealing with silcone.

Wau, that's awesome!
Last year I bought a 50 gallon (because it was $50 and I thought it was a good deal) and I didn't know where to put it so up it went in the barn. A few months later though, we renovated a room and vola- a place to put the tank.

Just hang on to it if you have no room at the moment... something might happen and allow you to set it up.

Or, you might be able to take down some smaller tanks and put the bigger one in their place.

Thats what i was thinking... Maybe combining the two ten gallons into the 55 and add some other stuff in there!

I dunno for sure if this thing comes with a stand or not. Im sure it has to if they had it set up.

Ill prolly reseal everything too.
