Hi Folks, i have a question ,
So i have to get work done in a fish room and i will have to move , my fish to a Temporary Tank ,
my Large Clown loach and a few Corydoras and guppies and a siamese algae eater From there old tank to a Temporary Tank Spare /tank i have a bit smaller that will be set up without substrate but will have same water from old tank and filter media same plants and rocks etc for a while,
The old tank has to be replaced so the plan is when the floor is done in the fish room , Set up a New Tank ASAP
in the new fish room ,
What do u recommend when i take them out of old tank should i use plastic bags to aclimitazie to Temporary Tank or can i put them straight in
How Long will it take to get the new one set up before i can put them in from the Temporary tank?
Thanks any tips appreciated

Old water is dirty water. It has no benefits. So if you haven't been doing regular partial water changes, start them now. Do several over a week, maybe 25%, to gradually bring the waters to the same chemistry. Gradually is crucial.
Then, when the water in the new tank is equivalent to the old tank, switch over the filter and the fish, do the renovations quickly and get things back to normal quickly. If the water and temperature are the same, the only danger is crowding.

I just net and dump if conditions are equal. Make sure you do basic maintenance on the new fishtank (25-30% partial water changes weekly) and all will be well. I've done similar things many times.
