as the title says im moving and its a six hour car ride from my house to my uncles and i was just wondering what is the easiest way moving my tank and how i would my fish filter media ect...

Get yourself some fish bags from your LFS and some containers for some water, if you can.

Empty some of the water from your tanks into the containers. Catch your fish and bag them up (one third water/two thirds air) and either wrap them in a blanket or duvet, or in an insulated box if you can. Put your filters in another fish bag or containers with as much water as you can, but it only needs to be damp, not necessarily completely covered.

Strip down the tanks and bag up your plants, substrate etc the best you can.

Just reverse everything at the other end. As you're moving a fair distance, I'd try and take as much of your old water as possible; if you can't do that, drip acclimatise your fish before you put them back in the tanks.

with my smaller tanks, my 4 and 5 gallon i was gonna and try to move the water with in 5 gallon buckets (just gotta find the top that goes to the bucket)
and it looks like i gotta start saving ice cream buckets to hold my filters, plants and sand in as well
