A lot of people say that they move their pregnent fish into seprate tanks to give birth, well okay, but how do I do this. I heard taking them out of the water will stress them and could possibly cause abortion... :/ I don't want this to happen! :/ Someone said put them in a yogurt contaner with water from the old tank into the new aquarium that has old tank water.

Here's my question. How do you transfer a fish in a container when you can't lift it out of the water?? And I know chasing a fish with a net will stress it out and could kill it. :/ Is there any way to do this quick aand easily with no stress to the fish or me?? :S :( :/ -_- :look:

don't put them in a yoghurt pot....there would be very little oxygen and light getting to the female if its in this...

as for moving them, just net them, but make it as fast as possible

If you're going to sperate her for the birth, use a breeding trap

:D I don't mean keeping them in the yogurt pot, just moving them with it. I also heard you can't keep mollies and platies in bredding traps because it stresses them and you might lose both babies and fish??
