Hello there, tis me! I am moving my Harry to his own tank. It seems that the tetras are now getting very cocky since we moved last week and they have started mocking him and stressing him out so I have a tank at my parents house doing nothing so this is it. I would just like to know how i go about it. Shall i add some of the water from the other tank and stuff? It'll be new gravel going in you see but it would be a good idea to take some gravel from the other wouldn't it even though it may look odd. Not sure how else i can make sure some of the bacteria get in the tank so it doesnt take as long to cycle. It'll only be him in the tank.

Any help would be appreciated xxx

If you can (depending on filter media of the old tank) take a bit of that and put it in the filter of Harry's new tank, and to make the gravel not seem weird, take an old fish net and cut the net part off and fill it with gravel from the old tank and rubberband it shut... therefore you have the benifits of the old gravel without the messy look of two different colors. Then you can remove it and put it back in the other tank.
