Moving fish?

Hey guys,

Would switching my Rift lake cichlid which is about and inch and a half 2 inches to a 37 gallon tank with tiger barbs and few sharks be okay till he can get moved over to a 55 gallon when hes a bit bigger?

It depends on what species of cichlid it is and how hard the water is.
Rift Lake cichlids come from hard water with a GH above 300ppm and a pH above 7.6.
Tiger barbs and sharks come from soft water with a pH around 6.5-7.0 and a GH below 150ppm.
