Hi Guys,

i purchested a new tank 2 days ago, tank had been running for 3 years so well matured and tested water and all good ammonaia reading 0ppm,

I have 4 clown loach i wish to transfer into this tank,
Do i put them all accross or do it 1 by 1 as i didnt want to cause a spike,

what is best guys?

any ideas guys?

there are 2x 1" clown loach and 2x2-3" clown loachs

When the tank came to you was the filter kept in water?
Have you been feeding the filer some ammonia?
Whats in the new tank atm?

well it was running right up until i took it over, filter was kept in tank water all the way home and there are 4 tetras and 3 tiger barbs and 1 small plec.

I'd say add 2 of them in this week, and then test the water, if all is ok add the last to in the week after.

Ok thanks heres my water readings i take it there ok.

Ammonia - 0ppm

Nitrite - 0ppm

Nitrate - 5ppm

yup, they seem fine. But, after adding the first 2 Clown Loaches check the stats again, then do a water change of needed.

How long do you generally leave it after adding fish before testing?
