Moving Bed Filter And Should I Use One?

I just ran across something called a moving bed filter and lots of do it yourself ones that seem to be easily made with a plastic bottle and air pump. I take it that they are some sort of biological filter and polish the water a bit more. I have a 10 gallon tank about a day from finishing the fishless cycle and I was wondering if this would be of any benefit to my tank. I'm filtering my tank with a Fluval C2 filter and It does a great job. With the trickle chamber on the C2 filled with ceramic nodes would it be of any significant benefit to add a moving bed filter to the tank? It seems like a cool idea!

That's what I'm thinking now too. Other than if you just wanna make a futuristic looking setup it would fit it perfect. Especially if you had some led's shining from underneath it.
