hi just wanted to ask is it possible to remove angel eggs off my filter to hatch out of the main tank as this time the parents didnt spawn on a leaf as usuall
thanx scot :)

and their hatching any tips from anyone welcome
thanx scot :)

Someone on here, not sure who, has said that they had some luck removing them with a razor blade...

cheers soup knew i could rely on you suppose its like getting corry eggs off the glass maybe?
dont know wether to wait till nxt time and give the adults one last shot what are your thoughts
scot :)

I replied in live chat after you had gone...I'd give them one last go at it.

sorry soup thought everyone was inactive
yeah do you think leaving the light on would help as they only dissapear when its off
scot :)

It might. Instead of leaving the tank light on you could place a lamp near the side of the tank where the eggs are.

will give it a whirl hun cheers
how can i persude them to lay on the sword again nxt time
scot :)

Block their access to the filter box with either slate or more swords.

good thinking :)
well they have made it through the night thank god and both parents are still guarding not just the female like the first time
fingers crossed for wrigglers lol
scot :)

Fingers crossed for you Chester...sounds like maybe they're figuring it out. Congrats!

yey thats 2 days theyve been their and their still on gaurd thank god
how much longer do you think before they hatch if their fertile
scot :)

If they were infertile, they should have gone white by now. They should hatch out sometime tomorrow but will not be free-swimming until day 5 or 6. Once they hatch out mom and dad may start moving them around so don't panic if you see them mouthing them.

You should get your brine shrimp started no later than day 4 if that is the route you intend to go.

cheers soup they have started to go darker rather than white and the female has took a chunk out the males tail i think keeping a light on made the difference
cheers again soup
scot :)

ohhhh im getting excited now, you watch theyll hatch out then they will eat them lol
