Mouthbrooding Bettas?

Hey i have a male betta that just never built a bubble nest out of the long time i have had him... but the other male i have loves his bubble nests lol. Well anyway i have another female betta who doesnt care at all what-so-ever about the bubble-nest builder, but she loves the male who cant build one.

Then i thought that maybe they could be mouth-brooding bettas. How can you tell the difference between a mouth-brooder and a bubblenest builder? If pics could be included, that would help a bunch, but if not, then thats ok

there are several species of mouthbrooding betta... but non could be mistaken IMO for a siamese fighter, betta splenden
