Mouth Rot?

ive just noticed one of my guppys mouth is rotten ie it looks like theres no lips on the fish the paramiteres are fine is this mouth rot?what is the treatment thanks for helping


ps its only 1 fish that has this

Hard to cure once the mouth is rotting away, its mouth fungus which is columnaris, really you need a strong antibiotic for it, here is a link.

thanks for the info so i should euthanise the fish then do u agree ?

If you can issolate you could try and save it, there was a thread with the same thing and sadly they all died,
even on antibiotics as really it was to late, plus the meds we have over here are not strong enough for a rotting mouth, sorry, And i would do some daily water changes on your tank, good luck

ok thanks for the help and ill take note of the advice about the meds/my lfs only sells interpet meds
