my new barbs have a white patch on the tip of their mouth, some are worse than others and one almost looks like its rotted away a bit!
they arent very interested in food at the minute although tonight they have had a bit of prima for the first time.
ive had them since saturday so 5 days up to now and i got a group of 9. i lost one with no real obvious signs of anything after 2 days
pH = 7.6-7.8
ammonia = 0
nitrite = 0
nitrate = 20-40
when i first got them i added them into a 6.5x2x2 tank with my large oscar. the oscar wasnt bothered about them and didnt give them a hard time, he went one way they went the other.....
yesterday i removed them and placed them in an empty tank as i thought it could be possible columnaris thats effecting the mouths.....
sorry the pics arent the best but they are fast fish
