Mountain Stream Setup

Has anyone got a mountain stream setup in their tank? If so have you been able to create a waterfall? Have you used real plants? If so what kind?

I believe the #1 planted tank on ratemyfishtank.com is something similar to what your talking about, if it isnt, im sure its still near the top. Its quite cool with large roots and plants growing up and out of the tank

I had one set up some time ago, used a Whisper 10i to act as the waterfall. I broke it down and turned into a low-light planted.

As for the tank ox5477 is talking about, I don't think it was a stream type tank. I think it was either a emersed setup or paludarium.

Search for Paludariums. for ideas, into which you could incorporate frogs, lizards and fish with lamps and misters etc.
