Moth in fish tank :S

I've just found a dead moth floating around in my tank... Theres a lil gap in the back of my tank where the electrical leads come out of my filter and heater to plug into wall socket so it must've got in there last night.

I know that moths are quite dirty so I was planning on doing a 25% water change, do you think this is the best action to take?

yeah it cant hurt to do a water change, you could always add a dose of melafix if you have any, kind of fishy disinfectant.

i'm not a fan of adding chemicals but that one has many uses and is all natural.

OK, well i dont have any melafix at the moment... Im hoping that a water change is sufficient.

Water change should be fine on its own, I always feed any moths I catch in my room to the fish.
