most peaceful chiclid

does anybody know of, or can suggest a very peaceful chiclid? its for a 50 gallon that im about to get in a month, any suggestions would be great

EDIT: God I'm stupid... I saw the heading 'most peaceful cichlid' from the main page and replied 'Keyhole cichlids are great...etc.'

Took me a while to realise this is the African cichlid board.

Peaceful is a very relative term when it comes to cichlids. Peaceful means that they are not as aggressive as some of the other species, and that after you have set up the tank properly and mixed appropriate species of fish, they will co-exist with minimal chasing and harassment. There are many African cichlids that are, or can be, peaceful, but all African cichlids have the potential to be aggressive when kept improperly.

labs, acei and saulosi are nice looking and fairly peaceful. They'd all do great in your tank.
