Amazingly, my most expensive single live purchase so far was £2 for an Amano Shrimp - Not exactly expensive, I know

What's the cheapest or best bargain you've bought?
Best buy was 8 Neon Tetra for £2

I will be buying more cichlids though that are dearer. Anyone who has bought marines will probobaly spend the most!

Clearly I live in a damn expensive place, cause I dont see fish that cheap anywhere

My 4" BGK cost me £16 too, so he was expensive as well.

I did have some GBR's ages ago, I think they were £8.50 each. Couldn't keep them though, they all died. By the time I got the water quality to suit them, they stuck 2 fins up at me and died.

Best buy was 25 cardinals and 25 rummy nose tetras for £25 (zoological on ebay)

Favourite buy was probably gettting two L114 leopard plecs for £30!

The cheapest is free. Although I've had to rehome all my free fish... such as common plecs, silver dollars, pictus cat, various gouramis, platies, and mollies.

I have not lost an arowana. I lost a tigrinus cat which are in wildwoods at the minute for £525 if someone wants to buy me a new one and a pair of marbled motoros wont usually find them in lfs but if you did there would be £200+ each.
