Most Common Worms In Brackish Tanks?

Hi all,

yesterday, I noticed a white spot of 1mm on the glass that turned out be a worm-like creature when I looked at it with a magnifier. A minute later, the creature let itself fall down, it vanished suddenly.

I was wondering what are the most common creatures like that in brackish tanks with SG 1.005 assuming that it has come in with snails (Malaysian trumpet snails), plants, or live food (some people aasume even frozen-food)?

Most likely a free living nematode or planarian, depending on whether it was cylindrical or flat. In either case not a problem.

A lot of people who keep big cichlids find they get them in their tanks. They live on rotting meat foods and are most often seen in dirty tanks that haven't had enough water changes and gravel cleans.
