Moss Sandstone

So, I just bought a hundred pounds of Moss Sandstone rock for my fifty five gallon. The rock has some dormant moss on it. Should I scrub it off first, or just clean the rock and keep it on? Will it hurt my fish? I'm doing Amazon puffers, if that changes anything.

Decided to just take it off, better safe than sorry! The rock passed the vinegar test, and I rinsed it all with water and scrubbed it. I'm going to run hot water over the rocks later this week, just to make sure to kill anything all the scrubbing missed! Does anyone have any other advice to make sure my rocks are aquarium ready?

Decided to just take it off, better safe than sorry! The rock passed the vinegar test, and I rinsed it all with water and scrubbed it.
