More Than One Filter

Evening all

Just a quick one..... would there be any issues with having 3 filters in the same tank at the same time? Im trying to get the bacteria growing in 1 filter ive bought and was hoping to do the same for the ex700 that just arrived.

more filtration the better in my view

just remember bacteria only keeps growing when needed in the aquarium. In other words if theres not enough waste levels to support bacteria it can't grow. It growth is dependant on the demand for it.

Well the plan is to get the bacteria growing in the filters enough to be able to use in 2 spare tanks i have. It will only be like this till the weekend, do you think the bacteria will be ok until then? or grown enough in the new filters?
