Hey,
In my 75 gallon, i have a copper banded butterfly. I was wondering if i can add another butterfly as well. I just put the copper banded in yesterday and i heard that if you add them at the same time, they'll be fine. Just wondering what you guys think.

it depends on what the other butterflyfish will be. Some will get along well together but others don't. If you get butterflies that don't resemble each other they will usually do better than those that do. Also try to get them similar sized.

i'd maybe leave it a little while, just to see how your copperband settles in, they can be picky eaters and they dont travel to good, easy upset.

Ok sounds good. Thanks, my butterfly isn't THAT picky. I'm feeding him live vitamin enriched brine shrimp now and he's picking a lot at the rocks. so we'll see.

if you have fussy fish that are only picking at rocks, you can squish a bit of frozen food (prawn or something similar) onto the rock and the fish will often pick at that. It is more natural for them to pick and graze and having some food on the rocks will often keep them alive long enough until they start to accept food that is sinking through the water column.
