To refresh everyones memory I rescued sage from a cup so filled with algae that you couldn't even see him. He had ick, internal parasites, gill flukes, was rail thin, had an odd shape to his back and a healing slit in his anal fin that looks like someone sliced it with a knife. Well we got the ick all cleared up, still fighting the internal parasites but hes seems to be very slowly gaining weight. And he's had a few days of feeling good, then today I noticed him flicking everywhere, and sure enough he has velvet  and looks to be getting ick again  Everyone cross your fingers for him, it seems that as soon as he gets over one thing something else goes wrong.

Awe look how handsome, I'm sure he loves being right at your desk there. I know my betta loves it!!! :fish:

Sometimes he'll jump out of the water a bit and keep doing it till I look at him, then he'll wiggle his butt and flare a little then swim happily away, its like hes saying "Hey ma, over here, Ma?? I'm over here!! There you are!! I just wanted to say hi"

haha...awe what a cute little fish. He really does deserve to make it!!! He sounds so special!!

Hope he's ok! He's a gorgeous boy!

There's always hope though. Our Khan got anchorworm and looked very sick but recovered well. Hang in there little man!

He's doing a bit better, less twitchy and flicky, and hes even started blowing his mommy some bubbles! :hyper:
