Fish Gatherer
Hi Ken,
I dug these out of my album from that summer. They (except last pict) are from our trip to Montana and up through Glacier Nat. Park. I think it's the continental divide?? Huge mountains, lush green and a feeling to die for.
This first one is on our way to Montana, just put it up because I think it shows what the area I live in is all about. FARMING and of course trees, lakes and mountains.
This is on our way up the "Highway to the Sun Road" at Glacier. They call it that because you keep going UP and UP and UP and finally you get to the top. The road is SCARY as he|| though. Very narrow and straight drop off down a HUGE mountain side........it's sort of a tourist trap.
Another one going up the "High. to Sun Road":
This one is taken on a little "outie" where you can stop and take a break from the hecktick road conditions. They have to close the road down in early September due to the massive snow and no way to plow the road out:
This is just a little waterfall when you get to the top. There are many water falls all the way up, but this is the only one I got a pict of. It's only so-so:
And this one......having nothing to do with that trip......is the ONLY swan picture I have and it isn't very good I know. I just thought I'd post it up for the "Swan Master". This is at a local park "Manito Park" by my house. It has a duck pond with swans and the pair of them had babies. It was cute:
Hope you like!
