More pics, my main tank for the first time!

I've got some more pics of him in one of his darker forms just to make sure;

Its a great tank. I'm not a big fan of molly's myself, but that high finned male is great! I use real wood for the Ph reasons, but I have a piece of fake in their too, just so it looks right. The Plecos are cute, I like them and khuliis :wub: I've got some Bn's I really like them too, and the cory's. I've got all pandas. Peppered corys and pygmys and banded I like too, but they are way to expensive when you consider they need to be in groups.
Good luck with the 200 gallon. But I'd just say you're lucky at your age to be buying your own place. :D

Nice tank :nod: I like your fish, especially the platies :p I noticed they are mostly high fins. Are they easy to find in your area? Here, they are very rare in the LFS's. I have one at the moment (a sunset wag girl)....

Your tank has convinced me to convert to sand. It looks awesome :nod:

I did used to have more standard platys up until recently but i got internal parasites in the tank which wiped most of them out but thankfully i got the desease under control and out now.
I don't get that many high fins in my area but they had some in a couple of months ago so i bought them all up- the girl working there gave me a discount because she thought the long fins were a deformity :huh: :rolleyes: !
Sand is great though and i find it much easier to keep clean than gravel and it also helps keep tank water quality better too in the long run since its not always getting waste trapped in it like gravel- all my tanks are sand based now :D !

Oh... :fun:
I suppose its kinda lucky then im getting a 200gal tank- i was originally planning on having it anyways for my common plecs to grow up happily in and i know i bought the little plec with the risk of it being like a sailfin, its also kinda lucky i suppose cos today i got news that the current people living in the house i am getting have found a new house of their own so it shouldn't be long before they move out and i can get the tank and move in with my fiance.
I've heard sailfins grow to about 2ft long but how long roughly does it take them to get to this size?

Good job you are getting a new tank as the gibby will need an 125gal, lol,
