The parrots spawned (again!) last night - it's the first time I've had the camera handy so thought I'd take some pics (they're not top quality but you get the gist and can see the eggs lol). Female is the yellow (bigger) one and male is the orange (littler) one:

Got some piccies of Zorro and Bender's babies today - they're wrigglers now and you can see their eyes! Please ignore massive amounts of algae, tank is due a huge overhaul (new plants and the works in the next couple of weeks) and it'll get a proper cleaning then.

Zorro - the proud mum:

Bender the daddy (still a baby himself) with Zorro (sings "well hello Mrs Robinson...tra la la!") - the wigglers are on the white suction cup that used to hold an air line:

And some random piccies...

Nationstreet the peppered cory:

Juvenile hifin platy:

And in my tank (above pics are from hubby's)...

Brochis (if Lee's reading - this is the one which damaged it's fin - healing nicely although the parrots nicked his dorsal this morning lol):

One of my rainbow cichlids (cant remember whether it's the male or the female):

And finally, WideBoy the albino common plec:

Ooohhh wrigglers! Cute pics.
Are you being overrun with wee ones or are the fellow tankmates keeping it under control?

Very nice tank. I liked the babies very much, they look cool and gr8. And all tank is gr8.

Fab pics Lisa. I am however a bit confused. I thought Parrots where in-fertile and couldnt breed  Would you mind explaining? Thanks.

More great pics as always Lisa! I love your Angels, they are so pretty.
You made my day though with the picture of your Rusty Pleco!

They can breed but the eggs will be unviable, infertile, whatever you call it. They both are capable of spawning, but the eggs wont ever hatch. Parrot fish male are chemically neutered, so they can still do "it", just the little man-wigglers wont be wiggling ;) lol

Thanks for the kind comments everyone :) Stang - I didn't post piccies of Rusty on this thread!

Oh and yes - the other tank mates of the angels will eat the babies at some point (I hope! erm, in a non-evil fish murdering kind of way, more of a "I hope we dont end up with tonnes of babies" kind of way lol). We're not deliberately breeding the angels - they paired off and then bred, literally in a day or two. Bender's only an inch or so himself (in the body), we've had Zorro for about 10 months and she had previously paired off with....another female! As we found out when that one paired off the day after these two with one of our others! It's been all go here with angel eggs and parrot eggs. Anyhoo, we're not doing anything special for the baby angels - they wont be getting baby brine shrimp or liquifry or anything - just left to nature I'm afraid. Well, as much as nature can do in an artificial setting anyway.

I really should get more sleep...
Your albino Pleco is gorgeous but where's your Rusty?

Actually it seems that the males are naturally sterile due to them being hybrids(like mules).

Great pics I love your BPs!!!!
