Hi all
Here are some pics of some of my new additions to my community.
Here is a really poor pic of my 2 swordtails.
The next 3 pics are of my 2 new clown loaches (crusty2 and sideshowbob) with the odd photo invasion from my balloon kissing gourami Mick!
It is hard to see but here is a few pics of my new balloon mollys
I have also done a very slight revamp of the tank, I have moved the black cave from the centre of the tank and added a medium size piece of bogwood and put some plants in it, the cave is now on the left as you look at the tank with a plant in front and the small piece of bogwood that used to be where the cave is, is now in amongst the plants on the right hand side of the tank as you look at it.
Here is a before pic
oh I have also trimmed the rather bushy looking plant just behind the cave in this pic, you can see it was just about starting to over rule the tank.
Here is the now pics.
I think I am just about happy now with the way my tank looks, I have done alot of swopping and changing things.
For those of you who can remember I used to have some coral style ornaments in here with a no fishing sign not so long ago. I decided the artificial ornaments in a real plant tank were a little tacky so I removed them, and have got a few more plants to take their place. This tank, gravel, fish, plants and different medications and tank treatments has cost me over £450 over a 2 month period, needless to say the spending is now going to have to be put on hold for a short period of time anyhow, obviously I will buy whatever I need to keep the fish happy and free from illness.
As you will see from the first pic of the tank there is a hatchery, I used to have balloon molly fry in here until today, whilst I was at work my baby managed to lift the lid of the tank and managed to release ALL the babies, so three guesses as to where they have ended up!!!! (Fish Food). I know this is what fish do but I have not fed them this evening (NOT as punishment for eating the fry) but because I know they have been fed today.
