Just dragged this out of the river any ideas what it may be?

Looks very much like Heteranthera zosterifolia, commonly known as stargrass to me.

Thats not Star Grass I have it in my tank, very similar tho.

Don't forget this has just been pulled from a river, it hasn't been lovingly cared for in a tank. This is a weed in the wild & he's in the right part of the world for star grass too. I still think that's what it's likely to be.

Seems it is crystalwort.
