Basically Im still doing my project (examination) and Im not sure what shape I want my fish tank STAND Therefore I would like some and Advice, So bascially I require two things::

What you would like your stand/box surrounding the tank to look like?

I had a friend weld a stand for my 55 out of square tubing. It has a shelf and legs that bend out at the corners. I sanded it to a shiny chrome-like finish and clearcoated it. I also have a light made from stainless steal that is the same color. Its more of a industrial look, but i love it and everyone who comes over comments on the stand. I'll try to get a pic for you later.

Sounds cool to me...is it steel or aluminium tubing? How exactly did you clear-coat it? Spray or brush? What kind of clear finish? I'm going to be building one too, looking for ideas.

Its steel. I used a hand sander to get any rust off and to give it a nice polish. I used a spray can of clear coat. Could have used 2 probably.
