after looking at those contest pictures from some planted tank contest, it seems like alot of tanks have amny more fish that what looks necessary.

i know some people add kno3 to help with nitrates? and i was wondering if this is another substitute that people use? it seems to make sense, but i dont konw if people actually do....

thanks

im no expert but in nature fishes produce poo that turns into nitrites ... and blah blah the nitrogen cycle, so having a lot of fish in a heavily planted tank will work but i think fertilizing is a much more controlled method :) and you wont risk the lives of your fishies and the balance of your aquarium ;)
